Write a letter to your 1 Representative and to your 2 Senators asking them to ensure that the US government does not weaken the FCTC during the next round of negotiations as it did during the last rounds of negotiations. Write a letter to the president, asking him to ensure that the US government does not emasculate the FCTC, and to please take a leadership role during the next round of FCTC negotiations. Write a letter to the Head of Health and Human Services, Secretary Tommy Thompson, asking him to ensure that the US delegation takes a leadership role in fighting the tobacco epidemic by supporting a strong and meaningful Framework Convention on Tobacco Control.
