Please help by contacting your government to encourage it to sign the FCTC, or if it has already done so, to ratify it. Voice your support for the enforcement of the strictest measures within the FCTC in order to protect public health.

Sign a Petition to the President: Support HEALTH not Tobacco: A Petition for United States Leadership

1. Write a letter to your 1 Representative and to your 2 Senators asking them to ensure that the US government does not weaken the FCTC during the next round of negotiations as it did during the last rounds of negotiations.

2. Write a letter to the president, asking him to ensure that the US government does not emasculate the FCTC, and to please take a leadership role during the next round of FCTC negotiations.

3. Write a letter to the Head of Health and Human Services, Secretary Tommy Thompson, asking him to ensure that the US delegation takes a leadership role in fighting the tobacco epidemic by supporting a strong and meaningful Framework Convention on Tobacco Control.
